Recent Activities

* Currently bidding on Sand Key Lighthouse.  Still taking donations.

* Applying for ownership of Carysfort Reef, Sombrero Key, Alligator Reef and American Shoal Lighthouses.  Making edits currently to applications, deadline July 31, 2020.

* President, Eric S. Martin, has passed the "Lead Renovator Refresher Course".  Good for another 3 years.

* Had first video annual meeting in April. Current Board Members were re-elected.  New Board re-elected current officers.

* We continue to support the Florida Lighthouse Association specialty auto tag, "Visit our Lights". Proceeds are used for grants for lighthouse association like ours.  If you live in Florida and don't have a specialty tag, consider getting one to support us and the other Florida lighthouses.

* Working with Biscayne National Park, owner of Fowey Rocks, to get dock fixed and perhaps add boat lift ,which would make it much safer for the park personnel, the Coast Guard (who still maintains the light) and one day in the future visitors.
